Press Release
August 28, 2008. San Diego CA- ActsPower Technologies launches commercial marketing with a cost-effective in-building interference cancellation (IC) repeater for better cellular reception that enables strong signals in various locations where reception have been known to be weak such as offices, residences, hotels, schools, underground parking lots, and high-rise buildings. ActsPower Technologies¡¯ repeater utilizes an advanced software defined radio-based (SDR) approach which allows the FPGA/DSP part to effectively eliminate the cancellation in real environment and amplify communication signals. We have achieved over 20dB interference cancellation more than existing repeaters. Additionally, the repeater is consumer friendly with its compact size, easy installation and affordability. We are selling the standard in-building IC repeater which is compatible with the majority of in-building repeaters and licensing its proprietary interference cancellation technologies directly to manufacturers. ActsPower Technologies anticipates that its modules will not only be limited to usage with cellular and PCS networks. Dr. Ben Song, CEO of ActsPower Technologies states, ¡°Manufacturers and cellular providers are consistently looking to deploy hardware that doesn¡¯t just provide better performance and coverage, but in addition, also a product that allows for less network maintenance and something that is cost-effective. I believe that the next generation of IC repeaters will allow repeater manufacturers to gain a more competitive edge over their competitors in the indoor repeater marketplace.¡± Effective immediately, the company will begin offering its cost-effective IC repeater to repeater markets located in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Press Release
May 03, 2007. San Diego CA- ActsPower Technologies, a San Diego-based RF wirless development company has created proprietary technology that will dramatically improve the performance of wireless and PCS on-frequency repeaters being used by cellular and PCS operators to enhance network coverage and eliminate dead-spots.
Jai Bhagat, Chairman of ActsPower Technologies and former CEO and Vice-Chairman of Skytel Technologies states, “When utilizing repeaters, wireless carriers are experiencing unacceptable levels of signal interference at each repeater site. Increased signal interference at each repeater site automatically translates into degradation of signal quality, which in turn diminishes the overall efficacy and functionality of the repeater itself. In creating next-generation interference cancellation systems, ActsPower Technologies?interference cancellation systems will not only reduce signal interference, it will also improve network signal quality, reduce the number of network repeater installations, eliminate the need to purchase, install, monitor and maintain additional repeaters, and allow wireless carriers to gain and sustain a competitive advantage in the commoditized wireless marketplace by improving the quality of their networks.?
In offering its interference cancellation modules, ActsPower Technologies will sell a standard module that will be compatible with a majority of repeater systems, or in addition, will also license its proprietary interference cancellation technologies directly to manufacturers. The company anticipates that its modules will not only be used in cellular and PCS networks, but will also be utilized in WiMAX, WiBro and public safety networks.?
Dr. Ben Song, CEO of ActsPower Technologies states, manufacturers and cellular providers are consistently looking to deploy hardware that doesn’t just provide better performance and coverage, but in addition, also allows for less network maintenance. ActsPower Technologies believes that its?next-generation interference cancellation module will immediately allow repeater manufacturers to gain a competitive edge over their competitors in the marketplace.?
During the beta-testing phases of the company's interference cancellation product, the company has begun to embed its next-generation interference cancellation module into the hardware of an existing major Asian repeater manufacturer. Project Manager, Dr. Nader Damavandi, states, “One compelling aspect of the staff at ActsPower Technologies is that our engineers utilize the company’s proprietary technology to work hand-in-hand with repeater manufacturers during the optimization of new and improved repeaters.?
ActsPower's interference cancellation business model will revolve around the development of numerous wireless-RF proprietary technologies that will have immediate impact on an array of industries that extend beyond cellular and PCS networks. Dr. Ben Song states, “While our company has developed a next-generation interference cancellation module, our future company efforts will broadly encompass improving the communication performance of hand-held devices and improving on-board automotive antenna technologies.?“In the very near future,?said Song, “ActsPower Technologies will begin leveraging its numerous and existing wireless patents in the creation of new, compelling, next-generation products.?
Effective immediately, the company will begin offering its interference cancellation technology in the markets of North America, Europe, and Asia.
