Dr. Thomas Moon
Dr. Thomas Moon is the CEO and president of ActsPower Technologies Inc. that joined in 2009. Prior to ActsPower, Dr. Moon worked as Founder and CEO at Digital Media Express, engaged in transference of video signal via Internet. He has 20 years of experience in electrical properties of various components. He received his Ph.D. degree from Clemson University, also his MS degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and his BS from Seoul National University, Korea, respectively.

Jai Bhagat
Jai Bhagat is a long time pioneer in wireless communications. Since August 2003, Jai Bhagat has been a Director and Vice Chairman of Axesstel, Inc. (AMEX: AFT), a developer of fixed-wireless voice and data products for the worldwide telecommunications market. In 2000, he founded AIR2LAN, a broadband service provider that was merged with US Wireless OnLine in 2005. Previously, he was a co-founder of SkyTel Communications, Inc., where he served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer prior to SkyTel's merger with MCI. Mr. Bhagat also served as Chairman of the License Exempt sector of the Wireless Communications Association International (WCA) trade association, which represents the broadband wireless industry. He has served as Chairman and a board member of both the Personal Communications Industry Association (PCIA) and American Mobile Satellite Corporation. In addition, Mr. Bhagat has served as a board member or chairman of several wireless communications based companies, and was inducted into the RCR Wireless Hall of Fame in 2002 for his significant contributions to the wireless industry. Past industry awards include the PCIA Chairman's Award, the Radio Club Sarnoff Citation, PCIA’s Technology and Innovation of the Year, and RCR's Personality of the Year. Mr. Bhagat received an M.S.in Electrical.Engineering from Howard University, a B.S. in electrical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India, and completed the Executive Management program at Stanford University.

Dr. Nader Damavandi, Technical Director of RF Engineering
Dr. Damavandi has more than ten years of experience in design and development of RF/microwave circuits and subsystems for high reliability wireless and satellite communication systems. In 2007 through 2009, he worked as RF System Staff Engineer at Sykworks to conduct design, simulation and analysis of complex cellular radio systems including Skyworks’ Helios 3 and Helios 4 multiband/multi-standard WCDMA/HSPA/EDGE/GPRS/GSM transceiver RFIC chipsets. He received his Ph.D. degree from University of Waterloo. His expertise and activities covers RF systems, RF/microwave filters, diplexers, low noise amplifiers, PLLs, up/down-converters, antennas, and EM optimization.
Dr. Sasan Nikneshan, Technical Director of SDR Technologies
Dr. Nikneshan has 12 years of experience in digital communications and signal processing, OFDM, smart antenna and MIMO systems. Prior to ActsPower as SDR Project Manger since February 2006, he joined RFTune, Inc., Waterloo, ON, Canada, where he was working on a smart antenna transceiver system and architecture for a wireless local area network (IEEE 802.11a,b,g) application. And in 2001, he joined Valence Semiconductor, Inc., Toronto, ON, Canada, where he was the System Architect for the Digital Visual Interface (DVI) group. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in electrical engineering.
Eric Jung, Technical Director of Product Engineering
Mr. Jung has more than 10 years of experience with RTL coding and synthesis, FPGA hardware implementation, and DSP communication systems. Since 2006, he had been working for ActsPower as Project Leader to develop a full digital algorithm and its digital implementation of interference cancellation technologies for wireless repeaters. Prior to joining the ActsPower, he worked for Hynix Semiconductor as Sr. Software Engineer over 6 years to develop custom layout utilities by analyzing needs of designers meticulously and upgraded LDI (LCD driver IC) custom layout flow to an automated custom design flow. He received his MS degree in electrical engineering and BS degree in physics from the POSTECH in Korea.
Kevin Cho, Sr. Technical Advisor
Mr. Cho has more than 17 years of experience in hardware and system level design and verification engineering. Since 2004, he had been working for Via Telecom as Sr. Design Engineer who developed for complex digital FPGA/ASIC designs in networking and other vertical application markets such as Digital Media using embedded processors and/or memory. Prior to joining the Via Telecom, he worked for NeoPace Telecom as a senior level contributor on the design and verification of ASICs which were designed for Network applications such as xDSL modem. He received his BS and MS degrees in electronics engineering from Seoul National University in Korea.
